Independent Reading Project - due February 13, 2019
Students should choose any book they would like to read that is middle school level. Once they finish the book, they will need to choose one out of the 25 projects from the list provided to them. Students were given the list yesterday and glued in their interactive notebook. If you have questions about this project, please feel free to email me.
Matchbook Project - due one week after we finish reading Tangerine by Edward Bloor
We will begin reading the novel Tangerine in class on Friday. We will read the novel as a class and occasional in small groups. As students read, they will need to write a 3-5 sentence summary of each diary entry from the novel. They will compile all of their summaries to create one project. I have given students a few options on how they want to create their end product. Please use the following link to view the presentation of the options students have to chose from.
Please note: one option requires the use of technology, if your child choose this option please provide a note that states they do have the resources at home to complete it. Thank you!
